Purpose and access

Dayboard is a personal household application for displaying selected Google Calendar events and Google Tasks on a local touchscreen. Use only an account and resources you are authorized to access. The owner decides which resources and paired devices can use the dashboard. This public website provides information only; it does not grant access to any household dashboard.

Google remains the source of truth

Calendar access is read-only. Task completion/reopening changes the selected task in Google after an authorized local request. Dayboard checks the provider result before confirming a change and does not queue offline writes. Local calendar hiding affects only the display.

Network outages, expired authorization and provider failures can leave displayed data stale or an action uncertain. Check important events and task states directly in Google. Dayboard is not a substitute for an emergency, safety-critical or other essential reminder system.

Owner responsibilities

Use the local dashboard only on a trusted private network, secure the host and paired devices, and keep pairing credentials private. The current local dashboard uses unencrypted HTTP; do not forward it to the internet or assume that this information site's HTTPS encrypts the local dashboard. Revoke Google access if the application is no longer wanted.

Privacy and support

Use is covered by the privacy policy. Google account and API use is also subject to Google's applicable terms and policies. Dayboard is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

The operator provides this personal application without a service-availability promise. For questions, problems or data requests, contact 585mjduffy@gmail.com. Do not send private credentials or calendar/task content in a support email.
